Bismarck Adds Forward with Tender

Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have tendered forward Braden Husby.

“The game I was at, the fans were awesome. It seemed like a great atmosphere,” Husby said. “The players and coaches welcomed me and made me feel like part of the team.”

Husby, 17, has collected 25 points in just 12 games with the Sioux Falls Power U18 team this season. The Sioux Falls, SD native spent last season with the Rocky Mountain Roughriders 16U team, putting up 13 points in 16 games.

“Braden is a power forward who brings an element to a game that every team needs: toughness, great stick, and can shoot a puck,” said Bobcats scout Wade Chiodo. “He is a forward that will play with grit and has the ability to create space for his line mates.”

“I go to the corners and get dirty in there, and go to the front of the net,” Husby said. “Put a few pucks in the net.”

Husby was one of six players to sign a tender this week with the Bobcats for next season.
