Clark Joins Bobcats As Scout

Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats are pleased to announce the hiring of Sean Clark as an addition to the scouting staff.

“He’s been a scout for a number of years and brings the ability to identify talent at a high level,” said Bobcats head coach Layne Sedevie.

“Sean and I have known each other for a long time being that we are both Blugold alumni,” said Niko Kapetanovic, the Bobcats director of scouting. “He is very respected in the hockey community and has a fantastic eye for talent.”

Clark played in the NAHL in 2001 before spending four years at UW-Eau Claire, posting 23 points in 81 games. He spent time with the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL after finishing his career with the Blugolds. After his playing career, Clark has handled roles as both a coach and a general manager in the NAHL, as well as scouting for the Omaha Lancers and Sioux City Musketeers of the USHL.

“I’m extremely honored to be joining the Bobcats,” Clark said. “Bismark is one of the premier organizations in the NAHL. I look forward to helping build a team that our fans will enjoy watching while we chase a Robertson Cup Championship.”

Clark was also recently hired as the head coach of De La Salle High School in Michigan.

“There’s a lot of good hockey players that come out of Michigan, and with Niko based out of Minnesota, Sean can cover a different platform for us,” Sedevie said.

“Sean is not only someone I trust but someone who will share the same drive to continue on the winning tradition in Bismarck,” Kapetanovic said. “I am very lucky and fortunate to have him on staff with me.”
