Jul 7, 2026

The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that Defenseman and Alternate Captain Noah Ziskie has committed to continue his academic and collegiate hockey career at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire.

This season was Ziskie’s 2nd stint with the Bismarck Bobcats. Back in the 2022-23 season, Ziskie appeared in 12 games for the Bobcats before returning in the 2025-26 season and wearing an “A” on his jersey. This season between the regular season and the playoffs Ziskie played in 61 games where he scored 15 times and added on 36 assists for 51 points. He was a key contributor in all situations for the Bobcats.

Ziskie exits junior hockey with 203 games between the regular season and playoffs, including stints in the USHL, BCHL, and NAHL. As mentioned earlier, this season Ziskie was a part of the leadership group with Nick Snyder, Gianni DiVita, Eddie Revenig, and Camden Alemond.

Bismarck Bobcats Assistant Coach Alec Rauhauser talked about Ziskie’s reliability in all situations throughout the season. “He was really good for us all year. His offense was something we relied on from the start and throughout the year as well. Z took a big step in his all around game and became very reliable defensively, playing in every situation for us.”

Other notable Bobcat alumni who have gone on to play at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire include:

  • Niko Kapetanovic
  • Sam Martel
  • Willy Stauber
  • Alex Strand

The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire Blugolds are an NCAA DIII program that play in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).

Ziskie becomes the 5th Bobcat to commit to a college/university between the regular season and the offseason,  joining Mark Evans (RMU), Ben Rakowski (Gustavus Adolphus), Gianni DiVita (Ohio University), and Alex Lunski (UNLV).
