Two Tenders, Roster Addition Join Bismarck

Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have added defensemen Christian Miller, Luke Gramer and forward Hunter Jones.

Miller, 18, had 29 points in 25 games with Greenway High School in Minnesota. He played this past weekend against Aberdeen, scoring his first NAHL goal in his first game. The 6’3 defenseman is also a St. Cloud State commit.

“Miller is a big, rangy defenseman that can skate extremely well, has good hockey IQ and brings a really heavy shot,” said Garrett Roth, Bobcats Director of Player Personnel. “He’s a player that we feel has the ability to come in and help us down the stretch run.”

Gramer, 17, collected 28 points in 25 games with Moorhead High School in Minnesota. He is committed to play for Northern Michigan like fellow Bobcats Grant Johnson and Ryan Ullan.

“Gramer is a really mobile defenseman,” Roth said. “A smart player with great vision and the ability to run a power play, and be a guy that can add offense from the back end.”

Jones, 17, was a key figure on a highly-ranked Andover High School team in Minnesota. He posted 11 goals and 34 assists for 45 points in 25 games.

“Hunter Jones is a two-way player that can play with a lot of pace, a high compete level and great work ethic,” Roth said. “He’s a player that we feel can add to our group with the urgency that he provides in his game.”

Miller and Jones were both tendered players for the Bobcats, and count as the two players the team is able to add when the roster expanded to 25 players on March 1. Gramer was added to the roster at the trade deadline in February, but continued his high school season.

Miller will wear 22 with the Bobcats, with Gramer wearing 13 and Jones wearing 23.
