We are thrilled to announce Ontario and European scout Johan Eriksson to the position of Director of Player Personnel ahead of the upcoming season. Eriksson, who originally joined the Bobcats scouting staff for the 2025–26 season, brings an extensive resume and a proven track record of constructing championship-caliber rosters across North American junior hockey.
A native of Sweden who now resides in Muskoka, Ontario, Eriksson possesses a massive hockey network rooted in his versatile history as a player agent, recruiter, scout, and executive. Prior to anchoring his scouting role in Bismarck, Eriksson achieved an incredible milestone of capturing three consecutive Junior A championships as an Assistant General Manager and Director of Scouting in Ontario’s junior circuits. He also serves as the camp manager for the highly respected EP Showcase.

Moving him into the Director of Player Personnel role is the natural next step as we look to build another Robertson Cup champion here in Bismarck.”
In his expanded role, Eriksson will oversee the Bobcats’ global recruiting framework, coordinate regional scouting efforts, and work closely with Kapetanovic and Head Coach Garrett Roth and our scouting staff to manage player identification, draft strategies, and tender agreements. Eriksson’s history of identifying elite talent is already deeply felt by Bobcat fans, having been instrumental in bringing multiple standout players to North Dakota.
