Dec 4, 2022

BISMARCK, N.D.–The Bismarck Bobcats, proud member of the North American Hockey League, are pleased to announce the tender signing of Tyler Bautko.

Bautko, a forward from Macomb, Mich. is currently playing at the AAA level with Belle Tire 18U.

“Tyler is a competitive individual and a leader on his midget team,” said Sean Clark, Bobcats’ scout. “He has the ability to fight his way through traffic, win pucks and make plays with his stick. Tyler will be a terrific addition to the Bobcat roster.”

The Bobcats currently have two Michiganders on their roster, Adam Pietila and Nico Chmelevski. Bautko is from the same hometown as Jonathan Ziskie, a team captain last season.

A tender agreement is a contract giving a North American Hockey League team the rights to a player for the upcoming season. If a tendered player decides to join the NAHL, he would join the Bobcats. Tendered players who joined this year’s squad include Julian Beaumont, Ian Engel, Mitch Simmons, and Nick Baer.
