The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that Forward Will Leonard has signed a tender for the 2026-27 season.
Leonard, an ‘08 forward, out of Utica, NY comes to the Bobcats with the Woodbridge Wolfpack. During his season Leonard appeared in 23 games for the Wolfpack where he tallied 6 goals to go along with 3 assists for a total of 9 points. In addition to playing for the Wolfpack, Leonard appeared in 5 games for the Sioux Falls Stampede of the USHL at the end of his season last year.
Bismarck Bobcats General Manager and Director of Scouting Niko Kapetanovic mentioned that Leonard checks all the boxes of what they are looking for in a Bobcat. “We are absolutely thrilled to tender Will Leonard. Will is a player who fits our mold perfectly as a Bobcat player. His high end compete, playing ability, and extremely high character are things we love in a player. Tendering a player who checks all those boxes like Will is going to make our fans very happy watching Will play. I expect Will to come in and be an immediate impact player who will always put his team first and will continue to carry out the culture we have in Bismarck. Coming from such a fantastic program in Woodbridge will make his adjustment to junior hockey extremely smooth.”
Leonard stands at 5’10 180lbs and is a left-handed shot. Before the Woodbridge Wolfpack, he also played with the North Jersey Avalanche at the 16U level and the Long Island Gulls at the 15 and 16U level.
