BISMARCK, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have signed defenseman Gavin Norwood to a tender agreement for the 2025-26 season.
Norwood is an ’07 born player who has played at the NAT1HL level with Biggby Coffee AAA tallying 6 points in 16 games played.
“Gavin is the best skating D in the NAPHL who makes the game look very easy. His smooth skating gives him an extremely high ceiling, we feel very fortunate to have locked up in our opinion the best D in the NAPHL and we look forward to Gavin continuing his development in Bismarck.”

Norwood started his North American career in the NAPHL 14UAAA with the Biggby Coffee AAA where he played 16 games in 2021-22. He moved on to Honeybaked 15UAAA of the HPHL 15U in 2022-23 earning 4 points in 15 games. The next year he would go back to Biggby Coffee AAA, this time in the NAT1HL 16U in 2023-24 playing 12 games earning 5 points. This year he is playing in the NAT1HL 18U with Biggby Coffee AAA. So far, he has 6 points in 16 games played. He is tendered with the Bobcats for the 2025-26 season.
Tender agreements are contracts handing a North American Hockey League team rights to a player for the upcoming season.
