The Bismarck Bobcats are proud to announce that Goaltender Easton Thvedt has signed a tender for the 2026-27 season.
Thvedt, an ‘07 goaltender, out of Reiles Acres, ND comes to the Bobcats after an incredible season in the MJHL with the Steinbach Pistons. In 22 games throughout the regular season, Thvedt notched a 19-3-0 record to go with a 1.97 GAA and a .926 save percentage. Of those 19 wins, 5 were shutouts.
Bismarck Bobcats General Manager and Director of Scouting Niko Kapetanovic mentioned his excitement regarding Thvedt choosing the Bobcats as his next team. “The Bismarck Bobcats are extremely excited and honored to announce the signing of Easton Thvedt. Easton had multiple opportunities to play on other programs in the NAHL and chose us as we are excited to keep him close to home. Easton is an incredibly sound goalie who is quiet in net, doesn’t over-commit on many pucks and has the athleticism to continue to grow his game alongside the best goalie coach in the game (Layne Sedevie). Easton has been someone that we’ve had our eye on ever since his great career at the Midwest powerhouse Sioux Falls Power program. Following a tremendous year last year in the MJHL, we look for Easton to continue his success and take another step.”
The Bismarck Bobcats are no stranger to selecting goaltenders from the MJHL as former NAHL MVP Tomas Anderson joined the Bobcats just two seasons ago following an incredible season in the MJHL with the OCN Blizzard.
