BISMARCK, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have signed defenseman Jimmy Dodig to a tender agreement for the 2025-26 season.
Dodig is an ’06 born player captain at Cretin-Derham Hall Highschool, who has recently played in the UMHSEHL level with Team MAP South Hockey tallying 5 goals, 10 assists, for 15 points in 21 games played.

Jimmy does a great job defending and taking care of the front of the net. He is an outstanding competitor who plays with an edge that makes him extremely hard to play against. Dodig started his hockey journey in 2019-24 with the Minneapolis Storm 14U single A then moved to the MN Walleye a year later of the MNHP 14U where he posted 5 points in 15 games. In the same year he played for the MN Penguins 14UAAA earning 5 points in 11 games. He then played for the MN Kings 15UAAA earning 3 points before finishing the year with the MN Walleye 15UAAA and 16UAAA. He moved to the MN Moose 16UAAA earning a point per game scoring 6 points in 6 games. Currently he attends Cretin-Derham Hall Highschool where he has 39 points in 59 games.
Tender agreements are contracts handing a North American Hockey League team rights to a player for the upcoming season.
