BISMARCK, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have signed Alpena, MI native Reid Meinhardt to a tender agreement for the 2025-26 season.
Meinhardt is an ’06 born player who has played at the NAT1HL level with Biggby Coffee AAA tallying earning 6 goals, 8assists for 13 points in 16 games played.
“Reid is a familiar face after appearing in a game for the Bobcats last year at home. He is excellent on the dot, winning an outrageous number of faceoffs and has a high end motor. Finding center men who are willing to play as hard on the defensive side of the puck as they do on the offensive side of it is hard, but we have found that in Reid.”

Meinhardt started his journey with Alpena High in 2021-22 where he scored 22 points in 24 games. The next season with Alpena High he would play 25 games, earning an impressive 59 points. In the 2023-24 season he was able to play with the Biggby Coffee NAT1HL 18UAAA, earning 48 points in 70 games. Interestingly, this would not be the first time that Bobcats fans would have seen this name as Meinhardt played for the Bobcats for a single game last season. Currently Meinhardt is playing with the Biggby Coffee 18UAAA scoring 13 points in 16 games. He is tendered for the Bobcats for the 2025-26 season.
Tender agreements are contracts handing a North American Hockey League team rights to a player for the upcoming season.
