‘Cats Add Jamestown Defenseman
Bismarck, ND – The Bobcats have traded for Jamestown Rebels defenseman Nate Clark.
“He’s a really good puck-moving defenseman that will fit in well with our group,” said Bobcats Director of Player Personnel Garrett Roth. “He solidifies our defensive core, and every one of our defensemen are veterans of the league that have the ability to play in all situations.”
Clark had 10 points in 36 games with Jamestown this season, his third year with the Rebels. He had 22 points in 96 career games with Jamestown.
“His skating ability will play well in our system and what we expect from our defensemen,” Roth said. “We look forward to getting him integrated with our guys for the stretch run.”
The Bobcats sent forward Carter Korpi and defenseman Danny Magnuson to Jamestown in exchange for Clark.
“To acquire an impact player in this league you’ll have to give up good players that have value,” Roth said. “Both of them have a bright future in the league and we want to wish them the best of luck moving forward in Jamestown.”
