Forward Boosts Bismarck’s Talent
Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have tendered forward Jacob Vockler.
“I really like the coaching staff, they felt welcome,” Vockler said. “With their playing style, it fits me very well.”
Vockler, 16, is the youngest player the Bobcats have tendered so far. The forward has 10 points in 13 games for the Sioux Falls Power U16 team this season.
“Jake is a highly skilled forward who plays with jam,” said Bobcats scout Niko Kapetanovic. “His ability to make plays and win puck battles makes him a matchup nightmare in the defensive zone.”
“I’m a 200-foot player, not scared to give a big hit when it’s there,” Vockler said. “Also like to score some goals.”
Vockler scored 35 goals in 64 games with Sioux Falls last season.
“I want to thank all of my coaches that have helped me along the way, and my parents for what they’ve done for me,” Vockler said. “I’d like to win a Robertson Cup with Bismarck.”
