Bobcats Set for 2014 Entry Draft
BISMARCK, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats will be loading up their roster for the 2014-15 season Tuesday as they participate in the 2014 NAHL Entry Draft.
After advancing five players from their end-of-the-year roster to the NCAA Division I level and aging out a total of 12 1993 birthyears, the Bobcats will have 10 draft picks Tuesday to restock their player corps for the upcoming campaign.
They hold the 14th overall pick in the first round. Each team will select players until their Protected List is at 30; the Cats’ list currently stands at 20 players—11 returners and 9 who signed pre-draft tender offers.
Any amateur player born on or after January 31, 1994, that is not currently on the Protected List of any NAHL team is eligible to be drafted Tuesday.
Fans can follow along with the Bobcats’ draft picks on Facebook with Bobcats Rock and on Twitter with @BismarckBobcats. The team will announce picks real-time, along with in-depth information on each player selected.
Bobcat Hockey would like to thank all of its fans, staff and sponsors for another great season of Championship Entertainment in 2013-14… you are a part of the team!
