BISMARCK, N.D.–Four current members of the Bismarck Bobcats had their names called in the United States Hockey League’s Phase II Draft on Wednesday.
Adam Pietila (Round 3, Pick 41 to Youngstown), Michael Neumeier (Round 5, Pick 77 to Fargo), Evan Hunter (Round 13, Pick 184), and Nick Baer (Round 15, Pick 221 to Dubuque) were selected.
Additionally, three tendered players–Gabe Kenne, Stephen Peck, and Jack Kernan–were also picked.
The Phase II draft is open to all junior hockey-eligible players who are not already on USHL protected lists. The drafting organization takes control of a player’s rights if they are to join the USHL and play Tier I juniors. Draftees are still eligible to return to the Bobcats.
Bismarck, and all NAHL teams, will hold this year’s draft on Wednesday, June 14.
