Bobcats Go All-in on Forwards in 2015 Draft

BISMARCK, ND – With major firepower on the way out, the Bismarck Bobcats went on the offensive in the 2015 NAHL Entry Draft, using all five of their selections on forwards.

“Losing such a big chunk of our top scorers, forward was obviously a top priority for us,” explained Bobcats head coach and general manager, who completed his sixth Draft Tuesday. “We are very excited about the players we selected; they all have the ability to be big-time impact players right away.”

Going young for the second straight Draft, the Bobcats did not select any final-year (1995) players.

The five players taken will be added to the 25 returning veterans and tender signees to round out the Cats’ 30-man protected list.

Next up for the Bobcats during the 2015 offseason will be the team’s Main Camp at the VFW Sports Center, July 17-19. As it is every year, Main Camp will be open to the public.
