BISMARCK, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have added Jack Callahan as Eastern Regional Scout.
“I am extremely proud to announce Jack Callahan to our scouting staff,” said Bobcats Assistant General Manager Niko Kapetanovic. “Jack brings a fantastic eye, work ethic, and has a ton of connections to help bolster the Bobcats roster.”
Callahan brings a wealth of hockey experience to the Bismarck organization.
As a player, Callahan was a 7th round draft pick of the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League (USHL). He also played juniors in the NAHL, spending time with the Springfield Jr. Blues and Fairbanks Ice Dogs. Callahan additionally competed in the Eastern Junior League (EJHL) before advancing to the college ranks.
Callahan began his collegiate career with one season at Division I Quinnipiac University (ECAC), before transferring to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. At Division III UW Eau-Claire, Callahan won the National Championship and earned 1st and 2nd team All-American honors.
“I’ve been fortunate enough to know Jack since our college playing days at UW-Eau Claire,” Kapetanovic said. “It isn’t often in this world that you get to work alongside a friend. Today the Bismarck Bobcats got better, with the addition of Jack.”
Following graduation, Callahan enjoyed a professional career in both France and the United States. He earned a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from American University.
