Defenseman Adds to Bobcats Future
Bismarck, ND – The Bismarck Bobcats have tendered defenseman Cooper Wylie.
“I feel like I can be a physical, strong defenseman at the NAHL level,” Wylie said.
“Cooper is a really good two way defenseman that will help us on both ends of the ice, and a player who can be an impact guy from day one,” said Garrett Roth, the Bobcats Director of Player Personnel. “He comes from a great program with a great coaching staff that develops high level players.”
Wylie, 18, has 25 points in 22 games with Stillwater High School in Minnesota this season.
“I played with some of the other Bobcat tendered players,” Wylie said. “I know they’re great players and playing with them will benefit me as well.”
“We feel confident that Cooper can come in and be a player that will help lead our defensemen next year,” Roth said.
“I want to thank my parents, my older brother, and my high school coaches especially,” Wylie said.
