With 1,242 screaming fans roaring their approval, the Bismarck Bobcats rattled off four straight goals to claim a 2-1 series lead in the best-of-five Central Division Semifinals courtesy of a 6-3 victory over the Alexandria Blizzard Friday at the VFW Sports Center.

Having successfully reclaimed home ice advantage and halted a ten-game losing streak to the Alexandria Blizzard, the Bismarck Bobcats make their home playoff debut Friday for the first of two big home postseason contests at the VFW Sports Center this weekend.

Following a five-goal Game One loss Friday, the Bismarck Bobcats circled the wagons and turned the tables on the Alexandria Blizzard, routing the top-seeded Blizzard 5-1 Saturday at the Runestone Center to tie the Central Division Semifinals 1-1.

The Bismarck Bobcats will wrap up the 2010-11 regular season with three games in three nights: the weekend starts with two home games Friday and Saturday against the Owatonna Express and then a Sunday contest on the road against the Alexandria Blizzard.
