Following a five-goal Game One loss Friday, the Bismarck Bobcats circled the wagons and turned the tables on the Alexandria Blizzard, routing the top-seeded Blizzard 5-1 Saturday at the Runestone Center to tie the Central Division Semifinals 1-1.

The Bismarck Bobcats saw the Alexandria Blizzard run off six straight goals in the first 26 minutes of Game One and could not muster a big comeback, falling 6-1 Friday at the Runestone Center for a 0-1 series deficit in the best-of-five Central Division Semifinals.

A season-high crowd of 1,553 roared its approval as the Bismarck Bobcats ran out to a fast lead and pulled away late on their way to a 4-1 win over the Owatonna Express Saturday at the VFW Sports Center, snapping a four-game losing streak in their regular season home finale.

The Bismarck Bobcats watched the Owatonna Express rattle off four straight goals and tack on a pair of empty net strikes as the Express downed the Bobcats 6-2 Friday at the VFW Sports Center.

The Bismarck Bobcats will wrap up the 2010-11 regular season with three games in three nights: the weekend starts with two home games Friday and Saturday against the Owatonna Express and then a Sunday contest on the road against the Alexandria Blizzard.

The Alexandria Blizzard rattled off four straight goals and the Bismarck Bobcats suffered their third straight loss, falling 4-1 Saturday at the Runestone Center.

The Bismarck Bobcats got three goals from their top line but couldn’t outduel the Alexandria Blizzard, falling 4-3 Friday at the Runestone Center.

The Bismarck Bobcats teamed up with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation during Monday’s game against the Austin Bruins at the VFW Sports Center and raised over $8,500 for the charity.
