The Bismarck Bobcats’ Friday contest against the Austin Bruins has been postponed, along with our St. Baldrick’s Night event, to Monday night at 7:15 PM.

The Bismarck Bobcats have secured their third straight playoff season and the first-ever Titan Machinery Dakota Cup thanks to a 5-2 dispatching of the arch-rival Aberdeen Wings Thursday at the VFW Sports Center.

Even though the Bismarck Bobcats are locked in a heated playoff chase in the wide-open Central Division, they will take time out for the second straight year to lend a hand—and their heads—to the fight against childhood cancer with the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The Bismarck Bobcats open the last month of the 2010-11 regular season with a two-game series at Riverside Arena against the Austin Bruins starting Friday night.

For the second straight night, the Coulee Region Chill used a multi-goal run to down the Bismarck Bobcats, riding a run of four unanswered tallies Saturday to drop the Cats 6-2 at the VFW Sports Center.

The Bismarck Bobcats saw a one goal lead turn into a two-goal deficit in a seven-minute span and saw their rally come up short as the Coulee Region Chill hung on for a 4-3 win Friday at the VFW Sports Center.
